Windows Operator Console (WOC)
The Windows Operator Console is a PC system for efficient and effective handling of multiple incoming calls. This version of the operator console runs on Dos 5+ or Windows 3.1 or higher, any new installations would be provided with NOC Pro. It provides you with a wide range of call handling functions, whilst displaying information about callers and their desired transfer. Another phone, working in parallel with the console, provides the operator's speech. You can use any analogue or digital phone, with a handset or headset as preferred.
Networked Operator Console (NOC)
The NOC works the same as the WOC but can be installed on more than one PC. A NOC Server is connected to the INDeX Telephone system via a serial cable then all other operator consoles connect to the server via the LAN. Each Operators console requires a licence key to be entered on the INDeX. The NOC Server must be running Windows NT and the clients must have windows 95 or higher. Any new installations would be provided with NOC Pro.
Networked Operator Console PRO (NOC PRO)
The NOC Pro is the latest version of the operators console and has all the benefits of previous versions and more. As well as the normal operators screen there is now a Busy Lamp Field Screen (BLF) to show status of other extensions.
Features of the NOC PRO include message centre which allows the operator to type textural messages as aid-memoirs to remind them that they have a message for certain extension users. The operator is automatically reminded of the waiting message when the extension user calls the console or the console calls the extension user.
Through the Directory you can display the settings of any extension. You can also change those settings.
Other standard features such as call annotation for giving names to incoming calls, auto dial directory allows you to quickly search and dial from a database of numbers/names stored on the console's PC, Directory which can display a list of extension numbers and names on the INDeX phone system.
